These delicious, delicate puff pastries are perfect for brunch or dessert. The pure fruit filling is all you need to create the perfect sweet treat.
1 package puff pastry
1 T water
1 ½ Cups of your favorite Made In Nature Organic Dried Fruit
Heat the oven to 400F. Beat the egg and water in a small bowl with a fork/whisk and set aside.
Using a food processor, blend Made In Nature Organic Dried Fruit to desired texture – add water to aid the blending and set aside.
Lightly flour your counter surface and unfold pastry sheet. Using a rolling pin, gently roll the pastry sheet into a square. Cut into 16 (3” x 3” inch) squares.
Using your Made In Nature Organic Dried Fruit filling, place 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of each square. Brush the corners of the square with the egg mixture. Then fold opposite corners to the center over the filling and pinch the edges to seal the pasty square. Place the filled and sealed pastries onto a baking sheet.
Bake pastries for 15-18 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown. When finished baking, remove pastries from the baking sheet and allow to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
