Cranberry Spinach Salad

Salads are perfect for a light healthy lunch or a green-side at dinner. Try making your own salad with this recipe. It's really easy and using fresh ingredients is better tasting and better for you than pre-packaged ingredients from the store. This recipe calls for Made In Nature Organic Cranberries but any of Made In Nature's Organic Dried fruit can be used as well.


  • 1 tablespoon butter (or butter substitute)
  • 3/4 cup almonds, blanched and silvered
  • 1 pound spinach, rinsed and torn into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 cup Made In Nature Organic Cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chopped onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil


  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Cook almonds in butter until lightly toasted, stirring throughout. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sugar, onion, paprika, white wine vinegar, cider vinegar, and vegetable oil. Add in spinach after thoroughly stirring.
  3. Serve in large bowl with Made In Nature Organic Cranberries and lightly toasted almonds added on top.
