Spiced Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

The weather outside may be frightful, but we're keeping it warm and delightful with this Winter Porridge. Top it with your favorite Made In Nature snacks!

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 12 minutes
Yields: 2 servings


  • ¾ C. Quinoa
  • 1 ½ C. Almond Milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Flax Seed
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Maple Syrup
  • ¼ tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp. Allspice
  • ¼ tsp. Cardamom
  • ¼ tsp. Ginger
  • Made In Nature Toasted Cinnamon Coconut Chips, and Made In Nature Cinnamon Citrus Nut Fusion, for garnish


  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a simmer. Add the quinoa. Cover and reduce heat. Continue to simmer until the quinoa has absorbed the liquid
  2. Combine the flax and spices in a separate bowl before shaking into the pot and incorporating
  3. Add the brown sugar, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Cook for 2 minutes more
  4. Divide the porridge into two bowls and garnish with Made In Nature Coconut Chips and Nut Fusions
