Pineapple Quinoa Breakfast Fusion


  • 1 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup Made in Nature Organic Apricots
  • 1/4 C Made In Nature Organic Pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cups of apple cider
  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger

  • Honey or agave to drizzle on top
  • 1/2 c chopped pecans or almonds (optional)


No time to make a hot, nutritious breakfast for the kids in the morning? No problem. Just cook a big pot on Sunday morning and then portion it into single-serving containers that can be microwaved on busy weekdays. For some extra protein, add a scoop of greek yogurt!

  1. In a medium pot, add quinoa, apple cider, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  2. Bring to a boil, lower heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.

  3. Add your favorite Made In Nature Organic dried fruit. Simmer covered for another 10 minutes. 

  4. Remove from heat, and let sit covered 10 minutes to thicken porridge. 

  5. Drizzle honey or agave on top to sweeten if necessary.
