SUBSCRIPTIONS

All Made In Nature products are available for subscription.

Visit any Made In Nature product detail page.
Select the “Subscribe & Save” button and select a quantity and frequency.
Add the selection to your cart.
Add additional products or go straight to checkout. Note: You can add one-time purchases to the same cart and checkout all at once. The first order will contain all items and all future subscription orders will ship out with the subscription products only.
Checkout out with your billing, shipping and payment info. You will be required to create an account for subscription orders so you can manage them moving forward.

Log in to your account.
From the My Account page, click the Subscriptions tab to view your active and paused subscriptions.
Under Actions, click Edit for any active subscription you want to change.
Here, you can modify your Next Charge Date and Subscription Delivery Schedule, as well as Quantity.
You can also click Delivery Schedule to review a summary of all your upcoming orders.

Yes, you can totally subscribe to multiple products at once. And if you want to try a new product, you can also add a one-time purchase to your subscription order. You can later add or remove products from an existing subscription, as well as manage delivery schedule, charge date and more.

To add products to an existing subscription, log in to your account. From the My Account page, click the Subscriptions tab to view your active and paused subscriptions. Select Add Product, located directly below the subscription you would like to change.
On the next page, you can find and select a new product to add.
Once you have selected the new subscription product you want to add, you can set the quantity, delivery schedule, delivery address and next charge date.

Absolutely. To pause a subscription at any time, log in to your account. From the My Account page, click the Subscriptions tab.
To pause an order, simply click Cancel under Actions on any subscription product you want to pause. You can reactivate a canceled subscription at any time.
You can also skip an upcoming shipment by clicking the Delivery Schedule tab. Then, select Skip for any upcoming order you would like to skip.

As a subscriber, you automatically save 10% off the regular price every time your product ships. Please note that because your 10% discount is always based on the current online price, your cost per shipment may vary slightly (which also means you get the benefit of any extra savings if a product you’re subscribed to goes on sale). When we make changes to our packaging there can be a transition period during which the old packaging is still on store shelves. While our website reflects the most current product being manufactured, to ensure your safety please consult your packaging for the most accurate information of what’s inside that bag.

Every ingredient in our bags is grown and processed without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Yes, all Made In Nature products are vegan and 100% plant based.

We have very strict procedures in place in our facilities, and nut warnings on all of our product packaging. The following is a brief explanation of the nut exposures to each of our lines of products.

Our Dried Fruit, SuperBerry and Tropical Sun Fruit Fusions do not contain or have direct exposure to tree nuts or peanuts. However, we cannot guarantee against possible cross contamination to tree nuts. They contain or there is possible cross contamination to coconut.

Figgy Pops, Veggie Pops, Coconut Chips, and Nut Fusion Blends - these products do not contain peanuts but do contain or have exposure to tree nuts and coconut. We cannot guarantee against cross-contamination of peanuts to tree nuts prior to entering our facility.

We keep things kosher in pretty much every snack we make, and most of our Supersnacks are Certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union. The few exceptions are our Mountain Gold Superfuel Blend, all flavors of Veggie Pops and Cinnamon Citrus Nut Fusion.

Heck to the NO. We think nature nailed it when it comes to fruit, so we choose not to mess with perfection. Sulfur dioxide, on the other hand, makes a mockery of Mother Nature's best work by unnaturally preserving fruit's color and acting as a chemical drying agent. We prefer clean, untarnished flavor and food safety, thankyouverymuch. So long, sulfur.

Our Made In Nature Apricots are bronze and beautiful because they aren't treated with sulfur dioxide. We keep the process bright and shiny by sun-drying each fruit to lock in the best possible flavor without the use of chemicals. Conventional dried apricots are sprayed with sulfur to preserve their bright orange color and act as a drying agent. We'd rather do it the natural way because if you ask us, clean, chemical-free flavor and food safety totally trump color. In fact, we think our dried apricots look perfect just the way they are. No fruit shaming here.

That's just nature being nature, baby. More specifically, those little white crystals are natural sugars that have been released from the fruit during the drying process.

Here's the more scientific version: our organic fruit continues to ripen and dry even after it's packaged, and during this time, natural sugars often make their way from the inside of the fruit to the outside, collecting on the surface. It's a totally normal and natural reaction, and it does not affect flavor or quality. In fact, it actually helps enhance the fruit's natural sweetness. Yum.

If you don't jive with that and want to remove the natural sugars, that's cool too. Just place ½ cup of the dried fruit in a microwave-safe dish with one teaspoon of water, cover loosely and microwave on high for one minute. This should help clear the crystals off, leaving you with nice, clean Supersnacks that are ready to devour.

Ever heard the term “taste of place”? It basically describes foods that are particularly delicious when they come from a certain location with the ideal growing conditions. At Made In Nature, we search the world over for the highest quality produce from the places it grows best, like Turkey, Costa Rica, Mexico, Tunisia and the good ole U.S. of A.

In our secret organic lair, of course. Just kidding. Our New Product Development team works out of our Boulder, Colorado test kitchen where they handle everything from ingredient sourcing to new recipe creation. Then there's our manufacturing facility, which is located in Fresno, California in the sun-soaked San Joaquin Valley.

Buckle up for a bonus round because you're about to get two answers for the ask of one! Part 1: Made In Nature Black Mission Figs, Smyrna Figs, Apricots, Cranberries, Goji Berries, Plums, Golden Berries, Dates and Raisins are all dried naturally in the sun. Part 2: We dry the rest of our fruits using clean, warm air through a gentle process known as tunnel drying.

PACKAGING & STORAGE

Our bags are made of plastic #7, which can only be recycled at certain facilities. Give your local recycling center a call before you try. In other packaging news: from bags and boxes to packets and canisters, we're always on the lookout for packaging that will keep our products fresh, portable and affordable. We have our eyes set on compostable options, and hope to make that transition in the near future.

It depends on the product, so the Best By date is going to be your best friend on this one. In general, the shelf life of one of our unopened products ranges from 8-12 months, and—quick tip—you can maximize the fresh factor of an open package by storing it in the refrigerator or freezer.

Thank you for reaching out! There are two things that can cause a bloated bag and neither of them are dangerous. The most common is simply that our organic dried fruits continue to ripen and dry even after being packaged. As they do, they release natural gasses, which can make the bag puff up like a little pillow. Rest assured though, this process does not affect the taste or quality of the fruit inside.

The other possibility is fermentation. Since our products are preservative-free, higher-than-recommended temperatures can cause the fruit's moisture and sugars to begin fermenting, which again, releases natural gases. Whether the product warms up in the store, during transit or in your home, it is still safe to eat. It just may have a slightly fermented taste.
